Advanced Wireless Features
New features have been added and existing technologies improved:

OFDMA — a key Wi-Fi 6 enhancement increasing potential throughput and reducing latency for client devices

BSS Coloring — a method that separates access points and clients using the same channel, improving coexistence in dense environments and reducing collisions

TWT (Target Wake Time) — optimizes the power consumption of client devices by coordinating how often a device wakes up to transmit data

Mesh — creating a single seamless network from multiple SNR and B-OptiX routers using 802.11k/r/v roaming protocols

BandSteering — enables range management, allowing easy duplication of SSID and security settings from the 2.4 GHz interface to the 5 GHz interface

Support for Multicast, IGMP Snooping, Multicast-to-Unicast, and multicast/broadcast isolation ensures stable quality of IP television services, including for Wi-Fi clients (though the latter is generally not recommended for IPTV)

IPv6 support, including: Native Dual Stack over IPoE/PPPoE with DHCP+RA, 6to4 mode, radvd, and dhcp6s services
For Internet Service Providers
SNR offers ISPs a flexible set of customization options for SNR-CPE wireless routers: housing modification, packaging changes, and firmware customization tailored to the specific network. Contact your account manager for more details.
For independent firmware customization, the EasyCustom tool allows reading, writing, and modifying configuration files stored in the router’s memory. The tool enables manual EasyWRT configuration changes via scripts without rebuilding the firmware, and saves modified parameters to permanent memory by uploading an archive directly to the router.
When uploading EasyCustom, system files will be replaced with those from the archive. Available in EasyWRT versions 2.4.0 and above. More details can be found in our knowledge base.
Diagnostic tools and remote CWMP access allow rapid issue resolution and help prevent network problems.
